 note = {研究成果の概要（和文）：日常の小児歯科領域では、子供に歯科治療をわかりやすく説明するために代用語を用いながらＴＳＤ法で対応する。しかし、歯科医師に共通した代用語は数語しかなく、子供の発達状況に応じた説明システムの不備を改善するため本研究を実施した。歯科治療を受診した子供を対象に歯科治療で用いる16器材について子供が認識しやすい視覚手段と代用語についてのアンケート調査を実施した。視覚手段は写真を選択する子供が多かった。子供が分かりやすいと回答した代用語と歯科医師が日常用いている代用語とでは違いが認められた。, 研究成果の概要（英文）：In daily practice of pediatric dentistry, we use Tell-Show-Do Method with alternative words, rather than the technical terms, in order to explain treatment procedures in simple terms to child patients. However, at present, we have only a few alternative words that are either understood by pediatric dentists in general or adequately applicable to the developmental stage of children. The present research was launched in order to address this shortcoming. Using child dental patients who came for dental treatment, a questionnaire survey was carried out employing easy-to-understand visual systems of 16 dental instruments and the corresponding alternative words. Most of the patients selected photographs as the means of visual materials.
